FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MSLM WILL CLOSE OPERATIONS SUNDAY JANUARY 12 2020

Coldwater, ON – January 11, 2020

Operations Update:

Environment Canada’s Special Weather Statement and forecast is predicting significant ice build-up due to freezing rain as an ice storm rolls through our area this afternoon and tonight.

Travel is not recommended. Extended and widespread power outages are also expected.

As a result of this extreme weather MSLM will close operations on Sunday January 12 2020. This is not a decision taken lightly. Losing a weekend in the heart of our ski & snowboard season is devastating but it is the right decision for both our staff and our guests.

Maintenance/grooming/snowmaking crews will be working non-stop to get the resort up and running again while we are closed. MSLM will re-open on Monday January 13th 9am to 4:30pm.
